  • A tiny little muddy pothole in the desert. It might be a nice place except they allow motors, so ski boats pretty much take over the lake. It takes about ten minutes to paddle from one end of the lake...  more »
  • We've stayed at Highline Lake State Park Campground twice, both times to take advantage of the nearby mountain biking at 18 Road, Mary's Loop, Kokopelli Trail, etc. It's a drive from Highline Lake to ...  more »
  • This is a great little lake! The area near the beach is grassed with tree's and picnic tables. The swimming area is a great place to beat the heat. You can use the charcoal grills to BBQ something yummy while your kids are playing in the water. The lake is fun for boating, although it can get crowded on the weekends. Boats are required to cruise around the lake counter clockwise.
  • I love this place! The lake is nice! Good for fishing and swimming. The ability to rent water toys is also nice. There is a good amount of shade and grass as well.
  • Yay, a cold lake in the hot desert! Lots of motor boats, so I think of it more as a wave pool. I love it!
  • Tent camped one night at campground, nice with trees and grass. We kayaked and fished. Had a great time except for the boats going back and forth. The camp hosts and woman at visitors center were friendly and nice ☺
  • Camped there for several days pleasant surroundings and helpful Camp host. Good location to visit National monuments and parks in the area
