  • Cantwell Cliffs is my favorite of all the parks in Hocking Hills. It is so beautiful and unique. It is much less traveled than the others as well. Great hiking!  more »
  • We could have spent all day here! If you have a hiking stick, bring it. Be sure to wear shoes that could get wet or muddy with good thread on the bottom because you WILL be climbing up and down steps....  more »
  • Hiked this and loved it as well as the other spots. Like most of the attractions like this it can be quite a walk but worth it.  more »

  • These cliffs are so dang cool. I traveled down from Detroit looking for some natural beauty and found it! The trails are well marked and the parking lots easy to find. The visitor's center will set you on your way to see some gorgeous stuff and if you don't enjoy yourself, you are doing something wrong. Go ahead and bring a picnic and a sense of adventure and prepare to have a blast.
  • Tamaracks I think. Gorges. Bluffs. Creeks. Fairly isolated. Slippery for the kiddos, challenging for the out-of-shape maybe. Best part of Hocking hills.
  • The nature is Extremely beautiful out here and the steps offer a little bit of a fun challenge which i personally prefer.
  • Beautiful. Even if you just go a little way down the gorge trail, you'll see a really pretty area with a fall that dries up in the summer. You have to go down quite a few stairs through a narrow path in the rocks, but I think that is where the best scenery is here.
  • a great place to start a trip to hocking. a suprise is at the base of the stairs
