  • This is just a great hike for all ages. Hard enough to feel like you did something, but not so hard you can't make it to the top. Beautiful views from the top. Try it in the fall!  more »
  • This is one of those hikes that combines the best of all worlds. It's an easy five-mile drive outside of Logan that still provides you with that sense of immersion in nature. It's a short hike, but a ...  more »
  • This hike is family friendly, the hike is short but a pretty steep climb. If you can get up there in the winter I would recommend it. Its gorgeous in the winter. Summer is the most popular time to go,...  more »

  • I like this hike. It is uphill, and there are no restrooms close by. So come prepared with empty bladders. I like to pack some snacks or a lunch to eat at the top. It is about 3 miles round trip. All uphill on the way there, and of course downhill the way back. It is really pretty, with many awesome views of the canyon. My three boys did great. My 9 year old, and 6 year old did fine the whole time without any complaining. My 4 year old ran almost the entire way up only stopping a few times, and then 3/4's the way down wanted me to hold him. (He fell asleep in my arms within a minute. It is a fun hike.
  • The Wind Caves trail is an incredible trail to visit in Logan. It's a beautiful, short trek that takes you to a breathtaking natural feature; The Wind Caves themselves. In that way, the trail reminds me a lot of trails in Zions National Park. So, if you want that kind of experience, but don't feel up to the 10 hour drive, this is a nice alternative in Cache Valley!
  • First time hiking with family, is very beautiful place. It wasn't easy but we made it. Amazing views from the top, just breathtaking ,gorgeous beautiful view.
  • I love this trail, I have ran it several times while training for a Marathon, and have also hiked it with family.
  • Trail head starts on the left of U.S 89 (on the way to Bear Lake from Logan). You can run this one and finish in 1.15 mins round trip. Great colors on the fall hike. Better than Crimson.
