  • We made it a family outing and were not disappointed. We saw hundreds fly in at sunset. What an adventure and it's certainly not just for young people. It's an extraordinary display.!!!  more »
  • I don't know if I picked the wrong time of the year (February 4) to visit this place, but it was hugely disappointing. All I could see were tiny birds that I could not even properly identify - they lo...  more »

  • We enjoyed watching and listening to the Sandhill Cranes. The volunteers were knowledgeable and kind. However, the people there to observe talked non stop. Maybe quietly, but continually. Greatly detracted from the experience. We were there to hear the calls of the cranes not listen to chatter. If there are any silent observation times we'd love to return.
  • Great facility and excellent birding destination. Easy for family with small children, well maintained walkway and observation deck.
  • Its a beautiful place to watch birds, eat lunch or just relax parked in your car.
  • Amazing place to watch the Sandhill cranes, with the added bonus of potentially spectacular sunsets.
  • We attended an evening tour and the volunteers were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We saw many other species and stayed in the blind until dark. The birds are magnificent. Highly recommend the visit.
