  • Whether you're ready to start a new exercise program or looking for a place to take a walk, the Onondaga Lake Parkway is the perfect location. There you'll find paths for cyclists, runners and walkers alike. Some are wheel chair accessible, dog friendly and all of the trails are beautifully kept, speckled with happy trees and a breathtaking lake view. Bring the kids to one or many of the playgrounds and stop in the Salt Museum for a cool bit of history! There are pavilions for events, maps to help you keep track of where you are, signs with interesting facts about Onondaga Natives and several connected trails so you can personalize your experience year round.
  • Fun for family outdoor time. Nice playground for kids. Spacious to play outdoor games. And for exercise enthusiasts, there are good foot and bike paths as well. Steamy hot days make the lake have a stinky smell, but it just depends on where you are nearby.
  • Hi every one, Lost my cell phone while at the Onondaga Lake Pkway some place near the boat marina. last night 8-3-16 might of been on a bench near the far end of where the big boats are. If any one found it or knows some one who did please have them turn it in to the park or main county parks office right near the parking lot area and I'll keep checking with them to see if it is turned in. Thanks to all for your help!
  • Nice park with a lot to do. Plenty of walking/biking/running on the paved trail next to the lake. Good playground and an OK skatepark. Misses 5 stars due to goose overrun and semi-toxic lake due to old dumping from industry.
  • Great place for families. They offer a wonderful playground, trolley service, bike rentals, picnic tables & grills, biking/walking trails and it is pet-friendly.
