  • I love visiting the lake and walking the shoreline trail. It's a good way to spend a few hours all-year round (yes, even in the winter). There's a playground for kids, a skatepark, fields for playing ...  read more »
  • I go rollerblading here a lot in the summer. The trails are really well maintained and they have bike and skate rentals on site. There are plenty of bathrooms and water fountains along the front side ...  read more »
  • Visitors from abroad and Americans from outside Syracuse love this scenic lakeside trail and its varied activities. Great for a leisurely stroll, jog, biking, roller blading, tandem biking and confere...  read more »
  • Fun for family outdoor time. Nice playground for kids. Spacious to play outdoor games. And for exercise enthusiasts, there are good foot and bike paths as well. Steamy hot days make the lake have a stinky smell, but it just depends on where you are nearby.
  • Nice park with a lot to do. Plenty of walking/biking/running on the paved trail next to the lake. Good playground and an OK skatepark. Misses 5 stars due to goose overrun and semi-toxic lake due to old dumping from industry.
  • Great place for families. They offer a wonderful playground, trolley service, bike rentals, picnic tables & grills, biking/walking trails and it is pet-friendly.
  • Taking one star off because as much as I love the parkway, I tried out one of those bicycles with the canopy over it that fits 2 adults and 2 kids and it was in such a low gear that basically no matter how hard you pedal you still don't cover much distance. Do not use these bikes as you will feel extreme back pain afterwards and I am almost six feet tall and could barely reach the pedals except with my toes
  • Hi every one, Lost my cell phone while at the Onondaga Lake Pkway some place near the boat marina. last night 8-3-16 might of been on a bench near the far end of where the big boats are. If any one found it or knows some one who did please have them turn it in to the park or main county parks office right near the parking lot area and I'll keep checking with them to see if it is turned in. Thanks to all for your help!
