  • A well laid out garden entrance and picnic area takes you to an old fashioned Winery shop. Inside you are met by the one and only Michel Lafort a French man who knows all about his Wine . The atmosphe...  more »
  • Went to several events at Retzlaff Winery in 2017. Overall their red wines are ok, don't bother with their whites. The venue is nice, close to downtown, shady with picnic tables and some kid games. Th...  more »
  • What a fine time we had here. With smiling personable staff and their great stories of the wine and the company, it's easy to consider going back for more sampling and purchasing what we all thought w...  more »
  • Venue was great. Fantastic live music. Open, outdoor space to sit and share a bottle. No membership required. Can't speak for all of the wines. Did not try them all. Enjoyed the Blush on a sunny November day. Kid friendly as well.
  • The winery is cute and small, mostly lots of outdoor space. The wine itself is nothing special. Everyone in our party was not impressed. I have been here twice so I have no intentions to revisit. There are many other wineries in the area so I would say to skip this one.
  • Wonderful, small, family-run winery. Not fancy, but great tasting wine. Our go-to for a quiet tasting.
  • Beautiful grounds. perfect for a family picnic, very kid friendly. They had a live band, these lil mini scooter things kids could ride around on, just awesome for families. My 6 year old was well entertained for hours. A nice amount of families there with their kids which was great. Wine? Mediocre, Tasteless, no complexity. I had a tasting of the variety of reds they presented they are tasted the same exact way. I couldn't even drink it to be honest, but instead shared a bottle of something else that another family brought in. I would go back but sadly not to drink wine but instead, bring picnic basket, lay out on the grass, buy a glass to be gracious but not somewhere I would seek out.
  • I love, love, love this place!! They treat all these guests with respect and courtesy everyday of the year unlike most of the other wineries in the area who do this only if you buy a special pass or if you spend a boat load of money. With Retzlaff, they treat you right if you buy one bottle, a case, or nothing at all. I cannot emphasize how much the people working there are great. Now the wine themselves, are just as wonderful as the people. Honestly, I can't recall a wine that I didn't enjoy tasting. The price you pay for the wine is such a great deal. This is a beautiful place to spend a joyful afternoon.
