  • I have been here numerous holidays-pumpkin patch and holiday lights. My favorite time of year is when there is snow on the ground and there is a hay wagon being pulled by horses through the property. ...  more »

  • Would have rated this higher but as it turned out, this late in the season the grounds were empty and the farm and houses were shut. So the walk around was for nothing except to pet the goat and look at the big pig. On our last visit the grounds were filled with blooming plants and the buildings were open - that was a great visit. I'm left with the question: why was this open at all in early November? It at would have been appreciated if the state of affairs was shown on their website or listed here on Google Maps! "Buildings closed after October..." or whenever that closed them. Thanks.
  • We visited for the Pumpkin Festival and it was amazing! Chatfield Farm is beautiful although be prepared for walking. I love the bridge for photos, the corn maze was fun and selection was wonderful for booths, food and kids activities. We went on a Sunday (last day) so the pumpkin selection was meh. I recommend they add more pumpkins or a larger plot, more photo opportunities (at least three areas which were beautiful, but had long lines so were difficult to visit), another weekend for three more days (which would help for less walking/more accessible parking and photo opportunities) and have more pumpkin-related items like pumpkin pie and spiced lattes.
  • What a great place to take the family. I have not experienced all they have to offer or could you in one trip. They do different activities for different seasons.
  • The grounds we're beautiful and the history was rich here, definitely a fun place. However, we had a memorial going on and had reserved a section of the area. They still did tours of our reserved area for future clients even during our memorial. Very tacky. Would visit again for a fun afternoon, but I would not recommend hosting an event here. Also the food they had served was not good. Bland and mostly heated up in a microwave.
  • I expected something different. Not sure what. The historical farm buildings were interesting and educational but held my kids attention 0% The minute they heard "don't touch anything" they translated it as BORING. The kids play place is smaller than I expected. Be aware there is a little water pit with mud that kids are allowed to play in and saying "don't get wet or muddy" is like saying "don't let the sun come up today." It's going to happen. The open spaces are beautiful and well kept, but since there are lots of free beautiful open spaces, I don't know if I'd pay to come back. We also went on Lavender Festival day which was SO MANY people. The food and activities were super expensive for lavender festival. Two kids, two activities and one tiny pizza to share $50 bucks.
