  • There are some interesting plants here, with good explanations of how they were used on the original farm. But it is a pretty small park overall. Not a destination place (except they were having a har...  read more »
  • Apparently, they have recently changed the name to the "Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms." This, now, more closely reflects the fact that in addition to its gardens, there are some "remains" of ...  read more »
  • We didn't expect much at this place and got a pleasant surprise when we arrived. It is a large venue with ample parking. The fall events are very well organized with good signage. We opted to do just ...  read more »
  • I love this place. As a member of the botanic gardens, entrance is usually free. If there is a special event there are discounts for members. Has a great play area for kids with a tree house. Nice trails throughout the gardens with a few historic buildings and a living museum with tours
  • They have a pretty short path that you can follow with sporadically labeled descriptions of most of the plants, though it's sometimes difficult to tell which sign belongs to which plant. It would be nice if there were corresponding pictures on the signs. I think the $5 admission was a little overpriced for what it was. You can spend about an hour walking around and taking pictures if you really milk it.
  • Beautiful venue! Heather was great to work with. If anyone is looking for a quaint place to have an outside wedding this is it! The barn location was great. Everything was beautiful. This venue only proved tables and chairs. They do not provide linens, catering, etc. However, they do provide a vendor list of people they have worked with most of which we chose. I highly recommend this place :)
  • Looking for a quiet and gorgeous backdrop to a wedding or just a way to enjoy an afternoon? Go to Chatfield as opposed to the York gardens, pay the $90+ per year for membership and have up to 6 adults join you on your outdoor journey. Chatfield has butterfly garden in summer (small extra fee for entry above membership) and in the fall pumpkin patch and a corn maze!
  • Beautiful wetlands. Had less botanicals than i thought. Was a nice place for a short visit.
