  • I liked this place even more than the new state capitol. A lot of restoration and thoughtful reconstruction has been made here and one can really see and enjoy that. In addition to the architecture th...  read more »
  • Only had an hour so didn't get to visit as long as I'd have liked but definitely an interesting location. Highly recommend.
  • Great history museum highlighting the state's history. It is free with a donation requested. Neat exhibits on past governors and their wives. Lots of history related to the civil rights movement as we...  read more »
  • Stopped by here while making a stop in Little Rock for the night on the way home from a road trip. We stayed at the Double Tree next door (Would NOT recommend that hotel) The Old State House was super cute, it's very well kept. It's a nice stroll to take and there are some great photo ops. I would recommend stopping here if you are already in downtown Little Rock.
  • Wonderful historical museum. The staff & tour guide were very friendly. They have a little theater where you can watch clips about local Arkansas history.
  • The Old State House is a wonderful (and free) attraction downtown. If you're looking for an exciting museum for the kids, head down the road to the Museum of Discovery. However, for history lovers this is a great museum. The exhibits are average, the real reason to come is for the building itself, it has a nice view of the Arkansas River and a stunning and classically Southern facade.
  • It was boring. The gift shop was boring. The building was dark. The downtown location was excellent. The outside scenery and decor was the only impressive thing.
  • Nice displays and history.
