  • This was a wonderful place to go. The grounds are well kept and the building was renovated to look the way it was when it was originally built. The museum is FREE. You go in and there are friendly peo...  more »

  • I was more impressed with the architecture of the building itself than the museum displays, but I'm not going to downgrade my rating because I'm just not really into museum displays in general. The building itself is beautiful and appears to be taken well care of.
  • Stopped by here while making a stop in Little Rock for the night on the way home from a road trip. We stayed at the Double Tree next door (Would NOT recommend that hotel) The Old State House was super cute, it's very well kept. It's a nice stroll to take and there are some great photo ops. I would recommend stopping here if you are already in downtown Little Rock.
  • Built in 1800 stand proudly as developing States and growing community, which reflects respected for present, progressives ideas for future.
  • Wonderful historical museum. The staff & tour guide were very friendly. They have a little theater where you can watch clips about local Arkansas history.
  • The Old State House is a wonderful (and free) attraction downtown. If you're looking for an exciting museum for the kids, head down the road to the Museum of Discovery. However, for history lovers this is a great museum. The exhibits are average, the real reason to come is for the building itself, it has a nice view of the Arkansas River and a stunning and classically Southern facade.
