We went to the Art Museum, it’s small, but has some interesting paintings: Renoir, Monet, and rotating exhibits. Went to the café for dessert only, as we had lunch earlier, and… after living in the US... read more »
This is one heck of an art gallery and arts center. You will not be disappointed. Inside I discovered many wonderful objects of art including paintings by Picasso, Matisse and I believe, Cezanne. The ... read more »
The Children's Art drew us in and then we really just ambled on through - it was cool and beautiful. Not a huge collection, but well curated. We definitely plan on going back or next VA trip! Restaura... read more »
I've visited twice, both times with older kids. They've enjoyed it as much as I have. Quiet place to walk around or sit and think. The art on display was interesting. My last visit had art from local schools. I have to admit, a couple of third graders are better at art then I am. The center is free, although you are welcome to donate as you enter. A good place to spend an hour or two.
This place has AMAZING pieces! I was actually surprised considering the size and also considering that admission is free. I was truly blown away, loved it.
For an art museum in a small city, this one was great. It has new art, old art, local art, kids art. It was great. Don't expect a big city museum, but this is a great, and free may I add, museum to see, especially on a rainy day!
Really great museum for the size of Little Rock. If we didn't have the Arts Center, we'd be lacking a real art museum. I noticed there is a one star review for this museum- there isn't anything bad about this place. The budget is on par with the size of the city, if you're expecting MOMA exhibits, well you're in the wrong place.
I wish that I had started taking classes here years ago. It has improved my life greatly. The member preview parties are a lot of fun. I love going to events when I am in town. If you join the AAC at the friend level get a membership to NARM which lets you go to museums all over the USA for free!!
