  • Aldermans Ford park is a lovely, well-maintained place for a picnic. There are several pavilions and numerous walking trails among the woodsy paths. Wear comfortable shoes, if you plan on walking. We ...  more »

  • Drove to Alderman Ford Park to fish the river for bass. Had several strikes and landed two 4 lb. large mouths. Fun with wonderful walking trails. Could spend the entire day at this park. Dr. Watson  more »

  • I basically grew up here. Great trails and boardwalk where you can view the Alafia River. Also the canoe launches there and its so much fun. This park is highly recommended for all ages and has little side trails if you wanna get some quiet time with nature.
  • Great spot for EVERYONE. There's a paved trail you can bike/skate, as well as a bunch of other non-paved trails for hiking / horseback riding. My favorite trail starts at the southwest corner of the park, and leads to a quiet secluded spot on the river. This park has a couple of beautiful bridges over the Alafia river and a unique history. Here, the north and south prong of the Alafia river meet to become a larger river that's sure to impress with the abundance of wildlife and plant life.
  • I had so much fun here with my husband! It's a great place to go hiking or biking. If you have a canoe or kayak there is a launch too.
  • Love the park and boardwalks! 🌿Great place to take my active son for a few hours and enjoy natureğŸ¦Ž
  • Park entrance fee is just $2 a carload...We love to come here and ride our bikes through the woods on the paved loop and trails. There are "workout stations" spaced along the loop that consist of "chin-up" bars... inclined "sit-up" benches, "step-up," bars, etc. Several awesome wooden bridges. There are modern restrooms, canoe launch, remote camping, baseball fields and more
