  • Very nice park. We have camped here many times. My son & daughter-in-law even got married there. They were married on the beach and had the reception in a large building on the hill above. The bath ho...  read more »
  • best park on the lake. very well taken care of. lots of sites to pick from. great hosts and lots of park activities to keep you occupied.
  • Our family comes for a week or two every year for the past 11 years. We rent multiple cabins and love the low key atmosphere and floating and boating on the beautiful lake. It's an inexpensive, super fun time!!
  • This place has disappointed me so much lately. My family has been coming to this park for over 55 years. Every year something else just shows the lack of maintenance and management they have. Cabin's will be available and open for over half a week yet they won't rent them out because they claim they don't have enough help to clean it. Evidently they don't have enough to maintain it either. Showers, doors, toilets, and steps all need major repair. The fish cleaning area doesn't work because of a 50 dollar grinder pump. So you swim with rotten fish they tell you to dump back into the lake. Yay. Its just sad the people the state has hired to run a once great park and turn it into a cluster. If you want a great park go to miseltoe you will be glad you did!
  • We love it here, been here three times and plan on coming back. Beautiful and very peaceful.
  • We visited this state park with family and the place is amazing. We had to cut down the duration due to heavy winds and rain but enjoyed every bit of it. The shelters were nice to keep us away from rain during day and then we rented a Canoe, saw people fishing and having lot of fun. The camp sites are around the river which makes it very beautiful. The staff here is so friendly & helpful that I can't thank them enough.
  • Know I don't hate it,i am just finding out the best way to the park from Blackvill SC.
