  • This can be a fun spot but I wouldn't pay the full price for it. Better for younger kids but older can enjoy it too.
  • Great fun for the kids. Safe and clean we let our kids loose on the park and they all had a blast 6 to 13. We were there on an August Saturday which was busy but still not crazy. One tip get their ear...  read more »
  • Whale's Tale is very clean compared to other waterparks I have been to. Also, the lines do not seem to get crazy long like other places. The staff is very friendly and polite, and we overall just had ...  read more »
  • Great place....Grouchy staff. This is a fun water park and it is well maintained and safe. The staff however are the grouchiest bunch I have ever seen. Not a smile to be found anywhere. The bartenders were especially grumpy. The DJ played aweful music poolside and I think she was playing tunes for herself, not the guests. I will return again and again but I cannot help mentioning the lifeguards, bartenders and staff.
  • I found the place clean, inviting, and very well laid out. There were lots of food options there, although we didn't eat anything there. The bathrooms were clean and pleasant. The staff was friendly, the lifeguards were super friendly and very attentive. The water was a little cool, but it is the White Mountains after all. I was trying to choose between this place and Water Country, but based on the reviews of Water Country and it's horrible bathrooms, I chose whale's tail. I'm very glad I did. On the day we went, they had a pipe rupture, and some of the bigger water slides are not working, so they offered us discounts for next time. I thought this was very nice. Especially since they got the slides up and running that day anyways.
  • Good waterpark. Nice rides, you can tell they are keeping it up to date and clean/maintained, unlike some similar places I've been to. Their bathrooms are clean - very important!
  • Went there in August 2014 with my daughter and her family. It was loads of fun. The lines tend to be long for the more popular water slides, but the lazy river is always an option when other areas are too busy. Cold water pools and hot tubs are other possibilities. There's a souvenir stand and a full gift shop here, as well. Food options are limited, typical for a venue of this type. The place was clean, the lockers of decent size. Despite the many other guests, there was room for all. (Maybe because so many of them were waiting on lines. Haha.) I'd go again.
  • Love it! Great accommodations, great slides for all ages, nice layout, lots of seating and places to eat
