  • There are things to not only look at, but interact with at the LCZ! This is great for kids of all ages! It's not so large that you need a half day there either. The parking is close, and it's nice and...  more »
  • I have taken my Grandkids here for years. They love riding the ponies and the train. Halloween is the highlight of the year there.  more »

  • The Lincoln Zoo is great. I hadn't been for awhile so I took my 5 year old. We had a great time. The staff everywhere we went was amazing and super friendly!! My ONLY reason for 4 not 5 stars is because I felt some of the animals had such small living spaces. The life of a zoo I suppose and I know Lincoln takes excellent care of their animals.
  • This is a nice zoo with a good number of animals and lots of shady areas to eat, rest and play. There are lots of fun things for kids like a giant sandbox, a log obstacle course, pony rides and a train to ride. The staff are really nice and we've seen lots of young volunteers helping throughout the zoo. This summer the zoo is also open from 5-8pm on Wednesday.
  • Great zoo and great price. Great place to go if your trying to kill some time. Went on a Sunday morning in July and though it was hot, there isn't too many people or crowds. Good selection of exotic animals to see and some to interact with. Only $10 adult admission.
  • Please people , not to expensive. Perfect for little kids. Shaded. The train was odd. It went around the outside of the zoo. But it was a great day. Thanks
  • This small zoo focuses on family friendly exhibits and walkability. There are student volunteers scattered throughout the facility, willing to answer questions and let kids touch some animals. Features: penguin pool, butterfly house, insect/reptile house, aviary, camel paddock, horseback rides (for kids) goat feeding. Major animals: snow leopard, red panda, gibbon, bald eagles, lemurs, tortoises, and much more. The zoo features none of the big African safari animals or other typical big-draws, though an advertised expansion due to be done in 2019 will have giraffes, a tiger, and more monkeys.
