  • Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial is a National Historic Landmark site; what some may not realize is that in additional to the Lincoln connection, it features architecture and sculptural works that are significant in their own right. This is a great destination to spend time in picturesque natural and manmade landscapes while also taking advantage of the superb immersive interpretive and museum experiences.
  • Great park if you are interested in Lincoln family history. Includes some living history area with an active farm and some people reenacting of life back in Lincoln's time. Probably not an all day experience for most people, but a good way to spend a few hours.
  • This is a great place to not only discover history, but to get some exercise. The walking trails are beautiful and the Living Farm is awesome!
  • Great walling trails to explore the working farm of Lincoln's childhood home. Nice museum filled with information on his early life. The grave of his mother is located on these grounds as well.
  • Great Junior Ranger program, educational exhibits, interesting hiking trails, and informative interpretive rangers on the farm. Definitely worth the trip!
