  • Learning how to blow glass was very interesting. It was so cool to see this blob of liquid stuff turn into a beautiful bowl. Daniel showed me how the glass forms and explained how the coloring is made. Granted it didn't turn me into a glass blower, but I have more respect of the craft now. I'd recommend this experience.
  • Keep trying to find the floats on the beach. Finally decided to make my own here. Was alot of fun.
  • Amazing hands on experience. I brought three kids here (ages 8-12) to do glass blowing as a birthday event. The instructors were very patient with the kids and walked them through everything step by step. They also explained the equipment and processes while working through the project. The "small" floats the kids made were much larger than I expected and are nice and solid - like like the fragile things you find in some gift shops. Use the web site to schedule in advance if you want to do the "make your own". There are several style options to choose from, not just floats. The quality of the instruction and your finished product are worth the price. They are so popular that walk ins probably won't work on weekends or during the summer months. If you don't have time or the desire to make your own glass pieces they have amazing art, jewelry, and functional pieces available for purchase in their gallery and you can still watch the artists at work or watch them walking a student through creating their own piece. Additional parking is located behind the building.
  • Fun. I mean.. very few places you can do this. It may be a bit of a touristy thing... but come on... it's certainly not typical. Stop by, sign up, blow some glass, laugh at your work and take home a memory.
  • I have to give 1 star. Because I can't take a Star away. The staff our Bitchy and pushy. The make your custom glass. The way they what it. And don't care what you. That you want. We drove from Salem 2 times. And they wouldn't work with us. They told us 2 weeks to make it. And it 4 before we could have got it . Very bad business DON'T GO THERE
