Theme Park · Water / Amusement Park

  • I am a season pass holders. They extended it till end of 2021. Only about 25% of rides were open . The wave pool and water slides were open and functioning. The crowds were small so no lines on the...  more »
  • Park is for kids. When I have visited the park several times the rides/food/games are never will open. Summer of 2019 I think lazy river was open 1 out of 3 times I was there. If it rains the park...  more »
  • Wonderful amusement park to take kids without all the crazy and wild amusement park rides. Seemed well maintained and located in a beautiful wooded area. Variety of rides plus water park. Can...  more »
  • This is a great park for the whole family. It's definitely geared toward younger children, but I take my 3 teens, and we have a really fun time. The water park has something for everyone, from the Lazy River and Wave pool, to the section for toddlers. I have a disabled daughter. My husband puts her on my lap in the toddler pool, and we enjoy relaxing and watching the little ones. There are family bathrooms and lockers to rent. There are also tents to rent but you can bring your own small tent or umbrella and set it up on the grassy area between the pools. If you come in a wheelchair, be careful to park where it's more wheelchair friendly, either the lot to the left (flat entrance) or lot C. Ask at the gate. They'll direct you. Other entry points have a hill that's hard to navigate. Also there are lots of pavilions for picnicking or hosting a gathering. We have season passes, as do many of our church family. I hope you enjoy!
  • We love Idlewild. This is the first year I've been there probably since I was a kid. We have a 2 year old we took for the first time, she absolutely loves it so much we ended up getting season tickets. (Which I recommend if you're planning to go more than once. They pay for themselves after 2 visits) we've never had a problem any time we've been there. The water area is great. The trolley is fun for any kid who loves Daniel Tiger.
  • This is the perfect park for young families. My 10 year old loved the rides as did my 3 year old. Kids over 42" tall can ride most of the rides with an adult, so we could enjoy most of the park as a whole family. There are a lot of trees and shade which was fabulous on the hot day we visited. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is not to be missed. We will be returning!
  • My family and I had a wonderful time at Idlewild in Pennsylvania! They are about the best amusement park for kids. There's so many things to do and see, it would take a week to explore it all. I highly recommend making it your next family vacation or trip. There's water rides, spinning rides, story book place, and much more, too much to type about here. Check them out on line.
  • My kids are 5 and 9 and loved it! Wish we would have done a couple days there only because you can't get much in because the lines for rides can be long like any other amusement park. My kids absolutely loved Story Book Forest too though!! It was a great time.
