  • This is a great museum! Must go see it! For those who don't know what it is, it is a jail used in the early to mid 1800s famous for holding the mormon prophet Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum. This I a great way to learn about the history of the surrounding areas. The jail no longer exists but with pictures of the original jail they have built a replica inside the visitors center. They offer free guided tours and have a great presentation! It is a must do if you are in the area!
