  • We stayed at a camping ground amidst this beautiful area. The waterways and views were amazing. So much to see and do. Sadly our visit was cut short due to smoke from nearby forest fires.

  • better than anything in Colorado, this drive is very safe and you will see deer and mountain goats. The trees are wonderful and there are pull offs so that you can stop and safely take pictures.

  • amazing
  • Start at Eureka or Libby. Lake Koocanusa stands for the Kootenai tribe. Canada and USA since the lake borders both the US and Canada. Plenty of wildlife to see along the way as you follow the length of the lake. At the Libby Dam there is a picnic area with tours of the Dam during the summer 4 times a day.
  • The lookout point in the dam is just amazing. Along with all the Info in the tourist gazebo.
  • Hidden gem! Such a beautiful drive!!
  • Loved the drive and the fresh air. Took several opportunities to just pull over and get out of the car to feel the breeze and enjoy the view. So worth it.
