  • Did not see this on our pre-planning. Great stop, wonderful falls and cascades. Swinging bridge has been repaired and a must do. We watched salmon fishermen catch many salmon in just a hour of hiking....  more »

  • Absolutely amazing place to take the family. The nature walk before the breathtaking river is a great addition. Wonderful way to get some exercise and enjoy family time. Candy at the snack shack outside is incredibly sweet and had amazing cones, pies and much more. The swinging bridge will get your adrenaline going in a fun and exciting way.
  • The Northwest is full of little spots like this and each has its own uniqueness. A great trail to stretch those road-weary legs and some worthwhile views of the falls. Highwater in spring makes this more impressive, but any time of year is worth it.
  • Breathtaking view of the river via a 100 feet up suspension bridge. Definitely swings a bit just walking on it. I wouldn't want to be on it when some jerk is swinging it!
  • A must see. Don't skip this. The trail is not difficult at all unless you have trouble walking on uneven ground. There are quite a few large rocks and tree roots in the trails. A few places with a brief descent or climb but not taxing. You have to walk up a few flights of stairs to go over the railroad (on a bridge). My 3-year-old did fine. The swinging bridge and the falls are well worth it. Absolutely gorgeous. Beyond the swinging bridge are more trails if you have time for a longer hike. Lots of wildflowers in late spring and I saw thimbleberries, currants, wild strawberries, and wild blackberries everywhere. Mid to late summer would be great for berries.
  • Took family that was visiting and had a great time. They loved it. Pretty easy hike as well for all age groups and hiking abilities :)
