  • This place is perfect for strolling. I could walk there for hours. It's not that strenuous so it's better for beginner exercisers or the elderly.
  • Such a great little out of the way place to take the kids! We had a pleasant afternoon to be sure, and a great one-on-one opportunity with our children. A real gem!
  • I found this gem on my search for hiking trails. It is a beautiful setting with an interesting history. Great find!
  • Absolutely LOVE this place!! Beautiful and peaceful!! The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They will talk to you about the different types of plants, trees, birds and other things in the park. Definitely recommend, you leave feeling stress free and full of life.
  • For the "city" hiker it's an easy walk. For small children it's a great place to explore plus it's just a cool place.
  • My wife and I went there and it was the most beautiful place I have seen in Lexington. Two young bucks were maybe 20 feet from us. So we just stood there quiet and watched them until they were gone.
  • Great for families and those with more limited mobility. It's a beautiful place for a quick walk or an afternoon exploring. There are always events going on and you never have to leave town!
  • My favorite nature park in Lex! It's a lovely place to explore by yourself or with family. They offer educational opportunities at the on site center and work hard to preserve the land and encourage nature's critters to call this place home. Such a lovely hidden treasure!
