  • I'm appalled at some of Lakeview Hills Reviews and pity the folks who have written them. I've probably stayed in more hotels and motels than all of the people writing them combined. And, the first of ...  read more »
  • Great staff. Handled a rowdy crowd all weekend
  • Can't say enough good things about this place. Great golf get away. With nice hotel, great restaurant.and the friendliest staff in the state. Plan to come back annually. Try the Italian sub..your tummy will thank you.
  • We love this place and the staff is so friendly! We come every year for as long as I can remember.... for a golf outing with 8 of us girls. Good Times!
  • We stayed at Lakeview for a wedding in the area. The hotel rooms were incredibly dated, seemingly unchanged since 1995 and SEVERELY overpriced. I had dirty sheets, dingy, battered towels, and they even put a wet washcloth in the rack when servicing my room. The service items (toiletries, toilet paper etc.) are the cheapest ones available, the shower heads are the $5 Lowes special purchased 10 years ago. The clubhouse doesn't look like it's been updated since it was built (wood paneling and all). The wait staff at breakfast is distracted and service is very slow. The food is cheap, but you're definitely getting what you pay for - even the bacon looks/tastes like it's pre-cooked.
  • Regarding the hotel, it is outdated, musty, rusty and overpriced. Making matters worse, the front desk staff, particulary Amanda, need a lot training in basic customer service and communication skills. If Lakeview is your only option for lodging in the area, it's adequate (barely). They act like they don't have to do anything to the hotel or the treatment of guests to attract/retain customers. Not a very promising business model. I won't be returning
