  • I've been to Jacobson Park many times, but usually only for a picnic so I haven't gone very far in. Recently, I went looking for the piano that was there for a short period and found that it was actua...  read more »
  • love love love the dog park here! plenty of space for my pup to get all (well not as much as I'd like) of his energy out. Also love that there are water stations on both sides of the dog area so I don...  read more »
  • I hate this disc golf course - only because I am not very good and the course is long and hard. However, it is a beautiful park with a lot of area for group activities or just strolling/dog walking an...  read more »
  • The new playground is awful!! My kids immediate reaction was WHAT??? THIS SUCKS!!! And then they saw the piece of the old play structure, and ran to it, only to be disappointed that half of it was blocked off. We stayed 10 minutes before they were both asking to go to Shilito. I wish the city had allowed volunteers to rebuild the creative playground.
  • I hate the new park. I miss the wood playground now it's all metal and plastic. This park used to be special. Now Its boring and a typical park. It lost its spark
  • Very large wide open park. There are areas to play with your dog off leash. There's a decent disc golf course, fishing and boat access, pavilions, parking areas, etc. A few pokestops as well. I just wish it was easier to get to by sidewalk.
  • Sooooo many things to do here. A great dog park, frisbee golf, paddle boating, kayaking and fishing in the lake, they host numerous festivals (the Kite Festival in May is a great family experience) and host outdoor movies in the fall and fun Halloween activities. My family, fur babies and all, loves visiting Jacobson Park!
  • Rating from a birdwatcher's perspective only. I've seen about 75 different species here. Not a bad haul for a park of this size.
