Equestrian Trail Casino
The Virginia Horse Center stands at the forefront of Virginia’s $1.2B equine economy. Founded to promote all disciplines of equestrian sport, its 600 acres of picturesque grounds hold a 4,000 seat coliseum, eight barns to accommodate 1,200 horses, 19 show rings including two large indoor arenas, cross-country and combined carriage driving courses, campgrounds, and full catering and café services. The VHCF also hosts many non-equine events like dog shows, BMX, agriculture programs, and the Rockbridge Regional Fair & Farm Show.

  • It's a smaller venue and the shows are run very well. The stalls are very big, most of them have electrical hook up very close, if not at each stall and all wash racks have warm water.
  • I grew up going to the Virginia State 4-H Horse and Pony Championship show here every September. The fond memories are all based on the well kept barns and arenas. Nothing better than a finals class in the Waldron Arena! (Photo is the view from the edge of the dressage hill)
  • Been there a few years ago nice place alittle bit of everything for horse activities and more. Wish Michigan had something this nice.
  • Great place, great shows, the annual fair is here, 4th of July balloon rally and fireworks are here plus the rodeo. Not too mention wonderful horse shows
  • Great place for AKC Agility trial. Hotels & downtown Lexington are close by.
