  • Hiked the park with my children on spring break. Beautiful! There are many trails to walk, and sitting on the banks of the river is a very relaxing experience. We sat on on Blessing Rock and just enjo...  more »

  • My title says it all. The cave is not a cave it's a deep hole in the side of a rock. Not else much to see there.  more »

  • Beautiful trails but due to the recent rains and flooding the entire area was thick with mosquitoes. I have never seen so many mosquitoes. They were literally swarming us in clouds. The Deep Woods Off didn't even make them blink. And several areas the steps have been washed out because of the flooding. We will definitely go back, but in cooler weather when it's dried out a bit... ;)
  • I enjoyed the hiking trails because they were not too long and you could cover a lot of the park in under three miles. I did notice that there is a lot of poison ivy though, the Red Oak Trail was the worst. There was tons and we had to turn around due to the trail being so narrow. I ended up getting poison ivy even though I remained on the trail the whole time. Also, the cave was neat but not as big as we expected it to be.
  • Wonderful location for hiking. Great trails on feet and for all fitness levels. I love the way the plants and trees are labeled and the boardwalk in the wetlands was awesome! We loved it all.
  • Peaceful, refreshing. Quaint easy trails as well as more strenuous ones. Choice of walking along the river bottom or trekking up to the hilltops. Nice picnic areas and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend.
  • Awesome place. Very peaceful and tranquil. Nice views, some hills were a little steep, but all in all a very pleasant walk
