Not a big area, but Missouri does a great job with the historic sites and that ia try with this site. Learned some history and really enjoyed checking out the park

Very informative about the Civil War battle and the family it affected that took place there.

Absolutely top notch fantastic experience! We were here for the reenactment. Was worth every bit of the drive. So educational for kids studying US history.

Small, but worth the drive off I-70 to see it. Didn't get to see the Anderson House, they weren't giving tours when we were there. I'd call before going again to find out when they're giving tours. There's also a small museum and gift shop, and a nice 20 minute video.
