  • They are a working farm, just off a busy road. You order at a counter and then walk around to the delivery windows. They have a decent range of flavors with a few specials/seasonals as well. The ice-c...  read more »
  • Fantastic premium ice cream at a reasonable price. Drawback is the "farm smell" of the animals on the surrounding property.
  • We had the mistaken impression that the dairy operation was visible and featured at this location, but aside from a couple of barns and a field. The ice cream is good and the flavors were standard. Th...  read more »
  • The ice cream and toppings are fantastic. Personally though, I'm not a fan of hanging around so close to the cows. The smell of manure can be strong on hot summer days. There are also swarms of flies because of this. There is no interior, so customers need to wait in line under the hot sun. The awning at the order window is only enough to cover one customer. But your reward for waiting is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Portions are generous and affordable. This place is a really delicious treat. We stopped there twice this week!
  • I go to Hopkins regularly, and am used to the extremely slow service. I'm willing to wait for such a good product. They've added gluten free labels, which I appreciate since I have Celiac disease. Sadly, the rude, argumentative teenager who served us today overshadowed the excellent ice cream. A friend and I each paid $4 for a small sundae, and received 2 completely different sizes. One could fit entirely inside the other, cup and all, with room to spare. I asked the girl at the window if we had someone else's order. She said no, they used the wrong cup, but it didn't matter. I said that it mattered to me, as I wanted the product I paid for, and she said the sundaes were the same size inside the cups (???). I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service- she actually offered to dump my sundae into a larger cup to placate me! I guess this is the risk you take when you frequent a business staffed by teenagers, with no adult to supervise. It's a shame. I will stick to other local ice cream shops in the future.
  • What a great place to visit when in the area. We went twice and enjoyed different flavors. The ice cream is delicious but melts super fast especially in the summer. The kids can see the cows next door AND there is a little play area across from the parking lot.
  • This place is fun to take the kids every now and then but painfully slow. It's almost like being at the DMV. I'm not sure why it takes so long to scoop ice cream but it's impossible to enjoy the playground or the animals when you're standing in the parking lot with a hundred other people for 20-30 min waiting on your food. Try doing that with a child that wants to swing and play. Hopefully they can speed up the service side so people can enjoy the farm and not wait in line the entire visit.
  • Easily some of the best hard-serve ice cream in the area. Especially like Peanut Butter Ripple and Apple Pie. Do be prepared for a wait in the evenings. Even if your order is taken quickly, you may still be waiting for a bit!
