  • I like the white wines, but PoL rocks the RED! The events here for Captain's Club, First Fridays, and weekends are very enjoyable.  more »

  • Love this place I helped build it it's beautiful. Used to be the old state highway building and they converted it into the winery.
  • Very cool little winery with wine tasting, winery tours, and live music some nights. I drive by every day and frequently see people seated outside or inside enjoying conversation, music and local wine.
  • Good wine, pleasant grounds, dark building. Paddleboard rental next door, and the yard looks nice for kids. The building is concrete, dark inside, next to the highway, with nothing grown on site. For our group of six, the wine was better than the two Calvert County wineries (vineyards on site) we also visited.
  • Very relaxing. Good service, good wine. Can kayak on sleepy Macintosh run just a few yards away.
  • Their 2013 Chambourcin is the BEST I've ever had.
