  • A must visit. We love all the animals and its free. The donkeys are our favorite. Don't miss the ice cream.
  • Not much into candles, but since my family is we usually stop here every year. They sell some decent ice cream inside as well. They have a petting zoo, but it seems the conditions are going down hill ...  read more »
  • When looking for a fun place to take my kid, friends and locals mentioned Hayloft Candles for its free petting zoo. The candle store itself is cute, but the petting zoo is another story. The petting z...  read more »
  • Honestly, I really loved this place since I was small, but my views have changed a little now that I am older. The animals are fed people food, which may become a problem to their health depending on what they are given. Nice view, especially where the ducks are. I suggest to eat ice cream before you go to the zoo, and bring your own hand sanitizer after you washed your hands. The store is quite expensive, for tourists come there frequently.
  • We dig this place. Good destination for a Saturday afternoon ride. Tasty ice cream, fun for the kids. The animals are fine-- if you essentially see animals as equal in status to humans, you'll likely not approve of any petting farm. But you should understand that there are a range of valid views on the issue. The Amish seem to see animals in a more traditional/utilitarian way but generally seem quite humane in their husbandry practices.
  • the most amazing ice cream and animals ever. i like going there!!!
  • Free petting zoo for the kids! There are quarter gumball machines that you can get feed out of. Feed the ducks/geese on the beautiful pond while taking a pleasant walk around it on the paved pathway. If you're not into a walk there's a small gazebo that you can sit in right beside the pond and feed the water fowl from. On the same side of the pond is the rest of the petting zoo. A very nice setup if you don't want to have to travel far.
  • Nice but expensive
