  • Wonderful little state park. This was a very nice little state park, there is lots to do here. I nice little beach to enjoy, hiking, fishing, camping, boating (small electric motors only), two playgrounds, and lots of day usage areas. There are two campgrounds, one for tents with non-electric sites, and one for larger campers with electric sites. The "good" campsites with privacy and shade are not as prevalent here, but there wasn't a lot of people camping on a beautiful father's day weekend, so I can't imaging it ever gets too busy. Kayak the lake was very nice and the beach was fun and not too crowded. We had a wonderful time camping here and will defiantly be coming back.
  • I had NEVER been to this park EVER even though I grew up in Illinois! It is a great campground! ! Peaceful, quiet and the hosts were great! ! Definitely will go there again!
  • I like this park because it is a very clean and beautiful park. The lake nearby is beautiful and very clean.
  • Beautiful park, good for hiking, you can take out small boats, camping. Beach is often closed.
  • If I could give it no stars I would. Closed after driving all the way there. Nothing posted on line. Bummer
