  • This state park used to be the bright spot in Lena. Due to state budgeting, it has really gone downhill. The roads are literally being washed away, with no signs of repair anytime soon. The snack shop...  more »

  • Great little park. Nice hiking trails around the lake and river. Our campsite was right next to the main road, but other than that it was a peaceful area. I would go back again.
  • Beautiful park. Very scenic. Friendly staff and clean facilities
  • Not as nice as when I came here as a kid, but what is these days. I heard tell that the lake was over run with algae, but when we were there, the lake was a bit muddy, but otherwise lovely! Great place for over 45 years!!!
  • I enjoy fishing here. It's very nice and relaxing.
  • Wonderful little state park. This was a very nice little state park, there is lots to do here. I nice little beach to enjoy, hiking, fishing, camping, boating (small electric motors only), two playgrounds, and lots of day usage areas. There are two campgrounds, one for tents with non-electric sites, and one for larger campers with electric sites. The "good" campsites with privacy and shade are not as prevalent here, but there wasn't a lot of people camping on a beautiful father's day weekend, so I can't imaging it ever gets too busy. Kayak the lake was very nice and the beach was fun and not too crowded. We had a wonderful time camping here and will defiantly be coming back.
