  • Golfed here on 10/08/16 paid 135 dollars to play Dubs. I enjoy spending a little extra to play courses like this about once a month. This was my first experience and Cog Hill and it will also be my last. Upon pulling in and getting my clubs out of the car there was no one at the bag drop, so i walked my clubs into the club house and had to place them on the golf cart myself. While in the clubhouse not only was I told it was cart path only but they had also just aerated the greens the week before (which i was not told about when i booked the tee time over the phone). Then we go to the driving range to hit range balls and it was more mud than grass. I am not sure if they are replanting or what but it was not in good shape. So i paid full price to play a course that you literally couldn't putt on because it was so bumpy from aeration, we had to play auto 2 putt becasue trying to make a 3 footer was even impossible. As for the course it was very wet which is a little understandable because we have had a lot of rain the last few weeks. However, I played Seven Bridges the day before and it was no where near was wet as Cog. I think Seven Bridges or Ruffled Feathers is just as nice for less than half the price. If you want to play just because they had tournaments there over 5 years ago please save your money.
  • What a great party. . .ten stars to Dan, Tom and their staff! Our family recently held my husband’s 60th surprise birthday party at Cog Hill following his Friday golf league. Discreetly working with them could not have been easier, as the guest list grew so did the accommodations. The food received rave reviews, the recommendations for our crowd were spot on. We felt the entire Cog Hill staff was totally involved that evening, were so kind to our guests and absolutely committed to making us happy. A great memory we will never forget.
  • We had my Dad's 80th birthday party there this year. The facilities, staff and food was exceptional. Cog Hill made this a great experience for my Dad and family. I would recommend this venue to have a special event.
  • Played course #3 for the first time. Was in good condition, although it seemed the greens were quite slow. not sure if they had been cut the day we visited. Had the famous cog dog at the turn and it was delish. I'll definately be back to try some of the other courses. price was right.
  • Cog course 1-3 are very enjoyable. Dubs on the other hand is not worth the $150 green fee. I did play it after the renovation and really did not care for it other than it used to be a PGA Tour stop. The service there is excellent. Only disappointing thing here is there are tons of group outings here and I rarely see any Rangers trying to force them to play fast. So a typical round on a weekend here can go up to 6 hours long if you do not have an early or late afternoon tee time. The Twilight rates are excellent as well. UPDATE 6/5/16: They now have a limited amount of Golf Boards. Very fun to use.
