  • Stopped today for a tasting with our friends and we had the pleasure of meeting Bonnie. She is so friendly and informative. It was a very comfortable, cozy, tasting. We will definitely go back again.  more »
  • Let me start by saying that I don't drink any wines that aren't sweet, so tastings are lost on me. The rest of my family did partake, however, and they all bought some wine to take home. The historic ...  more »
  • First time at this winery after visiting many in the area. They have a house from the 1820's where the owner grew up. The owners are super friendly, have a passion for wine making, 95% of the grapes a...  more »

  • We were there right as they opened and met the owner, Bill and his wife. We got to check out their newer tasting room and got a wonderful history lesson of the property and the family. Their tastings are seated in their home so you can hang out in the parlor, the library or the dining room. No matter where you choose it's a unique experience. They have a variety of wines and not one was generic to my way of thinking. I recommend you go early or late if you prefer the true "personal touch" because this place is no secret and you'll have to jockey for attention if there's too many people.
  • Nice small family owned winery - includes a quick tour of a historic house which the family have renovated.
  • I love this place - most relaxed wine tasting you can experience in the Lees-burg area
  • Super rude. My kid and her friends accidently wandered onto the property with the house while taking prom pictures (no drinking, just a pretty location), and was lectured about "how would they feel if someone took pictures on their property". Uh, how about you mark where your private property begins and ends and make it clear when you are opened and closed? These are good kids, and it's unfortunate that some "adults" think they can talk to kids like this just because there are no parents standing right there to call them on it. Won't be going here again.
  • Really tasty wines.... especially the "Three Captains Red"... nice deck area to enjoy a picnic lunch..
