  • The construction looks to the vineyard, live music and plenty of space for picnic, as well as excellent choices of cheeses and breads to accompany the wine. The wine options are good, none comes to highlight and may contain many sulfites (headache after 3 cups) a fun afternoon and August with friends near Washington

  • Spectacular setting. Their wines are excellent. Two different places to go...one is for adults...the other is kid and dog friendly.  more »

  • Great place for a celebration or just to take in the scenery and some great tasting wine. The private wine tasting was informative and well done. The new building is very nice. They have one building where kids and dogs are allowed and one for adults only. No food is provided due to va law.
  • Everything about this winery is amazing. It was our first time at this winery. When we entered the building, the hostess was very friendly and showed us to the bar where we would be having our wine tasting. The customer service was awesome. Definitely will be going back.
  • The winery was great and our tour guide very knowledgeable. I gave the review a 4 out of 5 on the basis of the early closing time on Saturdays. We had a wine tour booked for 4.15 but due to traffic delays didn't get started until 4.30. We were then told that they stopped uncorking at 5.30. We rushed through the tasting so that we could grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the last 30 minutes or so of relaxing on the deck. It would have been much more pleasant to sit for a few hours. So BE AWARE of this and go early.
  • Beautiful location, dog friendly. Wine is so-so. Fall dress code seems to be plaid and vests for both men and women. Dress accordingly...
  • Very nice (and expansive) grounds to explore. I was also impressed with the wine. They offer tastings or you can just get a glass or bottle and hang out. Prices are about average for the area. There is a kid-friendly area and an adults only area which I think is a great idea.
