  • The wine wasn't my favorite, but I don't feel that it's fair to rate a winery based on the wine since everyone's tastes are different. The location was nice, there was a beautiful outdoor picnic area ...  more »
  • We went there for the bonfire, which was several seating areas around fire pits but was still lovely. Wines were good, staff was wonderful. Offered small plates for dinner.  more »
  • Off the beaten path, this place is wonderful to visit for a nice, relaxing glass of wine. It's a large wooden cabin with a great front porch, though they have tables inside as well. Wine is pretty goo...  more »

  • Most fascinating Chambourcin I've tasted here in VA!
  • Kinda a dive. Didn't have a good experience but not writing it off yet. Will most likely try again.
  • This winery has a nice cozy feeling when you go in. It's very much a log cabin in the woods and they even offer a selection of board games for you to play while you sip your wine. I took off one star for this one because there weren't many standout wines last time I stopped in. The Chambourcin was probably my favorite as it had a nice mustard seed flavor to it (sounds weird but it was delicious). They had a Rose the year prior that apparently used the Chambourcin and it had been the favorite wine of the day (out of 5 wineries). They used a different recipe though last time I went in :(
  • Absolutely loved the place. Very warm and welcoming staff. Cute and cozy log cabin setting. OUTSTANDING wines. Favorites were the Chardonnay, 2010 Cab Sauv and their brand new Chambourcin which the lady doing our tasting let us have a sneak peek of. Kudos to that! Even though some of the reviews here (5+ years old) say otherwise, Hidden Brook def knows what they're doing these days.
  • I liked this winery, but did not love it. They had live music outside, which was fun, but not a lot of seating near the music. Most of the whites were a little sweet for my taste. However, the chambourcin was really interesting. The tasting room is a little sparse, but the staff were very nice and accommodating.
