Flag Hill Winery is a winery located in Lee, New Hampshire, United States. It is the largest winery in the state.HistoryThe land where Flag Hill is located has been farmed since the 18th century, and was formerly a dairy farm. Frank Reinhold Sr. bought 180acre in the area in 1950, and in 1985 his son Frank Reinhold Jr. took over the property with the hope of growing grapes, which he began planting in 1990. The first harvest took place in 1994, and was released in 1996.Flag Hill winery was the second winery to open in New Hampshire, preceded only by Jewell Towne Vineyards.A barn dating to the late 18th century hosts the winery and tasting room. There are 21acre of vineyards, and the winery produced about 4,000 cases of wine annually as of 2011, as well as 2,000 cases of liquor at its distillery. The winery grows French-American hybrids such as DeChaunac, Marechal Foch and Vignoles, as well as American hybrids such as Cayuga White and La Crescent. These varietals are more resistant to cold winters.Plan to visit Flag Hill Winery during your Lee vacation using our convenient Lee holiday planner.

Glorious place for a wedding in the Fall. The gorgeous vineyard, and tent with it's colored lights make it a photographer's dream. The staff was phenomenally friendly and helpful. Bartenders rocked!! ... more »
Nice place, very low key, didn't think we'd buy anything...just sort of window shopping, did the tasting and walked out with two bottles. all the varieties were good or great. worth a visit. more »
This is a very nice vineyard and tasting room. The staff is friendly and I particularly enjoy their General John Stark vodka and their North River port. more »
Christa Phaneuf and owners were so good to us preparing such a delectable buffet with risotto, fresh vegetable medley, salad, chicken piccata and sirloin of beef that was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Brian gave us such an in depth tour of their vast vineyard full of grapes that will be ripening soon. And the personal wine tasting held in our room was great and the cranberry apple wine was our favorite. We spent a nice day to celebrate our Donne 2000 Ferragosto. Recommend highly for weddings or special events. What a spectacular view.
Great trip!! I am not really a big wine person but the Maidens Blush and the Apple Cranberry wines are the very best I have ever tried. The atmosphere was great and the staff were super fun- and non snooty. If you like wine and want a fun break from being stir crazy from all the snow- go now!!! Wine tastings until 4:00 only 5 dollars and you get 6 choices to taste, a souvenir wine glass, and fun conversation with super nice down to earth people who make and serve great wine and spirits. FUN, FUN, FUN!!! Make sure to try the fruit liquors- Raspberry was the best thing I tried while I was there!!!! Also- if you like vodka John Stark is excellent. Go try some now.....why are you still reading this?,,,,, go.....right now.
Just awesome...try the apple cranberry and plum wines...outstanding
Great place with good wine and fantastic spirits! I went there with a big group and they were able to set up the tasting in a room right near the tasting room. With the help of Mara, one of their staff members, I was able to pick some wines and spirits to sample. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
