  • Very well done visitor/information center. Really enjoyed the presentation of the information about the mine. Was really interesting to learn about the science experiments done in the mine. Definitely recommend stopping here.
  • This was such a fun place to stop. Maybe more science stuff and less touristy things
  • An absolute must stop if you are anywhere near. Just seeing the mine is amazing enough but this visitor center tell you all about the history and the (ongoing!) science that takes place there.
  • So much science is done here. Yay Science, Yay Free. It's really great to come in and see not only the history of the mines, but all of the information about the science that is done in Lead, due to Sandford. I recommend coming in here and looking at all of the history and what is happening in this small community
  • Great place to stop and see. Lots of great local history. Friendly people, clean restrooms, cool souvenirs.
