  • I was driving through Davenport on a 1,000 mile road trip. Being a big fan of the boys, I stopped in. My first indication that I should not stop was when I called ahead, it was an automated answering service. No human was available to answer tneir phone. When I arrived, I was impressed by the layout. It was very nice looking. I went into the original building and was surprised how small it was. Tiny. Not many antiques. I went to the new building and it was just a STUPID GIFT SHOP. I turned right around and left. I'm so glad that my detour only cost me 5 miles. In all fairness, I never saw an advertisement that there were many antiques available. I just assumed that since their show is about them picking that they have something fun to buy. Just a TOURIST TRAP. I would not recommend a detour.
  • We bought a lamp from the Nashville store this past July, after completing our house reno in Sept, we discovered a small problem with a lamp shade. I emailed Lauren, who also included Matt in our situation. They went OVER and beyond in customer assistance to make us the happiest owners of product from their store. If only other retailers could learn from them in how to handle customers! What a great shopping experience and we look forward to another trip to Nashville and visiting with them, to thank them again in person!
  • I didn't expect to see anyone from the show. I think we saw Robbie outside as we pulled up, but he was gone by the time we found parking and walked there he was gone. I do hope down the road they make one building the NFS and gift shop and the other the rusty gold for sale. Honestly, for authentic antiques you know aren't fake or repop, I thought the prices were fair. It was fun to look around.
  • Big fan of the TV Show. However disappointed in retail store LeClaire. You do find many items they rescue/purchase on the show but a large number of the items are NFS (not for sale). It is more like a museum. Very big on selling retail souvenirs such as t-shirts, coffee mugs many small items that represent their show and store. Never been to Nashville location. One time visit for me.
  • we are fans of the show, so it was really fun to see the shop. icing on the cake? Mike was there talking to people and taking pictures with fans. He was so sweet, down to earth, and genuine. we enjoyed it overall.
