  • I had a lovely time walking through the whole distillery process. The guide really focused on the different ways four roses makes a batch, then how the batches are mixed to create the final whiskeys. He talked about how FR has a one story distillery so there is less temperature difference and more consistent end product. The four whiskeys I tried were all delicious. Great tasting room.
  • As always, a class act. The wife and I went to the newly opened visitor center and were blown away at the new aesthetic. The staff were friendly and attentive. The cocktails were delicious! I'm a personal fan of the Thunder Punch cocktail they are currently serving. Beautiful setting, beautiful grounds and the archive section is incredibly interesting. If you are a bourbon lover and enjoy the history of the industry, I highly recommend stopping in!
  • We really enjoyed our tasting at Four Roses. The grounds here are really beautiful and their buildings have great Spanish architecture. When we arrived it looked like the group for our tasting was going to be really large, however, we were broken up into smaller groups and brought to a tasting room so it felt more personal. Summer, our guide did a great job teaching us about the Four Roses history and about the bourbon. You can bring children into this distillery. It isn’t a 21+ distillery only, but I would suggest if you don’t have too - then don’t. There is plenty of parking here and the restrooms are super nice.
  • We tried to go on a tour here recently. When we made the reservations we were in the central time zone and the email we got told us. 11am. The front desk staff informed us that we missed our reservation and it was at 10am. Turns out our confirmation was in central time not eastern time. The front desk worker could not squeeze us into another tour group. Totally understandable, but when we asked for a refund because the computer system messed up and it was no fault of our own they informed us the only way they give "cancellation refunds" is if they are more than 24 hours in advance. But we weren't trying to cancel the tour, we missed the tour because of a computer glitch. The worker would not listen to our situation and just said no. I don't think they did anything that was necessarily wrong, it just wasn't classy. Every other distillery we went to felt like a family run place where they want you to feel at home and enjoy their product. It is unfortunate that this place is not the same. I would make this your last "maybe" stop if you are going for the true bourbon experience.
  • My sister is visiting from Maryland, so we decided to take the Taste of History Experience on 11/11/2021. We had a great time! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and a GREAT tour guide (Isaac was funny, charismatic, and knowledgeable). Next time she visits, we plan on coming back to take the longer tour.
