  • We had a GREAT time here on the tubing hill. I loved that they had a conveyer belt taking you to the top so you didn't have to walk. The runs were very fun. It just is expensive and goes pretty quick!...  more »

  • I feel for Perfect North. This has been the year without a winter. That said, they have absolute made the most of every shred of cold weather to crank out as much snow as they can. Very family friendl...  more »

  • Been here twice now for Spartan Races and the location is great. Plenty of hills, time in the shade, and some water. I've never been for skiing but as far as Indiana hills go it's pretty big and really nice.
  • A ski resort nearby? Lucky us! They do a great job making snow and grooming it, friendly staff, fun place to be outdoors during winter, go snow tubing or come hang out on the deck with a hot beverage and some food. Open till 1am on Fri. and Sat. nights. Great ski shop with knowledgeable people to custom fit your boots, good choice of gear for ski and snowboard. Free beginners lessons for your first time there. Fun for the whole family.
  • Over the years it's just gotten better. I was hoping my kid would like the tube runs, and she definitely did. They were actually a little faster than I'd even hoped... super fun! Pro tip: bring headphones or earplugs if you, like me, are not a huge fan of pervasive modern country music played on the park loudspeakers.
  • Very nice slopes for the Midwest. They are well groomed and the staff is nice. They can be a little icy, but that's what happens when most of the snow is man made. Being able to snowboard late into the night is awesome. Downside is it's a little overpriced and you spend most of your time in line or on a lift for the 60 seconds it takes to complete a run.
  • Let's clarify that this is skiing in the mid-west. It's not powder and most of the time it's not even natural snow. That being said, Perfect North does a great job maintaining the grounds and they have ski patrol personnel scattered throughout the slopes to make sure people are safe. Overall, no complaints!
