  • An interesting collection and well worth a visit. I am guessing way too many people in the area do not realize what a gem they have. Spend an hour or two and take in the other sites around the town.
  • I enjoy going to art museums and having the opportunity to see art from the past and art from the future. It is located just behind the student union.
  • very nice to visit with the appreciation of many ways...great on a hot day in the summer...easy to get to as well...
  • A great museum in the middle of the KU campus, a strong collection of works, great traveling installations (James Turrell) and just renovated.
  • Still waiting for the opening this fall. The exhibitions are worth seeing they are here.
  • Excited to visit once it reopens. It has always been a great place to enjoy art and culture while unwinding. Particularly for students during testing seasons.
  • Super relaxed atmosphere (photography allowed), and a unique collection of ancient and antique artwork, crafts, and artifacts. This is one of the few places you can feel the history get lost inside the moment. Some of the more decorative art treasures are a bit boring, lots of bejeweled snuffboxes and plates, but it's interesting to think about why they were made and collected.
