  • My grandfather was a Superintendent here in the 60's and early 70's and it is absolutely beautiful to see how close to original and clean. The staff was outstanding and so welcoming. Truly hard to keep composed I love this park now more than ever I will not wait so long to return to my childhood stomping grounds, the throwback in time was extremely immense, awesome, and humbling. Thank you for it all.
  • Love tent camping here. The staff is all super friendly. The facilities are clean, the lake is beautiful and refreshing to take a dip in. The frisbee golf course is simple and short but still fun. It's a great place to escape into nature for the weekend.
  • Nice enough. We stayed in Hilltop. Pretty wide open and a steep road up with a 40' rig. Electric. Water is around but not at each site. Dump station is a good distance away. Not real private. Nice hiking. Old logging roads. Walk the ice pond to twin fawns. Beach was closed due to high Bacteria. Not uncommon in NY. Looked nice though. Parking is a walk away however. Inconvenient to launch your own canoe or kayak. Narrow roads. But in good shape. Many many handsome CCC cabins and structures here for rent. Closest supplies are Oneonta. Or stop in New Hartford if coming from the North.
  • Amazing place, crystal clear water with deep end swimming out to the dock. It is worth the drive to visit this lake! My family loves it!
  • Camped here twice over the summer and both times were pleasant. The campsites are well kept and the cabins have great amenities included.
