  • Growing up In laurel ms, I probably went at least 12x's to this museum! Nicely kept! Clean and informative. It give you a history lesson on Laurel, MS!
  • This museum was a delightful surprise. Both the permanent collection and the traveling exhibit were outstanding. Definitely worth a visit. Really nice docent and staff too.

  • An outstanding museum - one of Mississippi's hidden treasures - with extraordinary collections housed in an architecturally interesting edifice. It's a teaching museum - so go there to learn about AND enjoy the artwork on display!
  • Today was my first time visiting and I was very impressed. It's small, but the pieces there are wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the Japanese woodblock prints. There was a new exhibit featuring a black and white photographer which was really good. The Chihuly glass is great too. Don't skip the library either. It has a very cool feel to it. Oh, and the baskets, don't skip the baskets. It's really a great museum.
  • A hidden treasure in the town of Laurel, MS! There is an expansive permanent collection, as well as quality rotating exhibits. Make sure to check out the world's smallest basket. I think it was woven out of splinters!
  • Great art
  • Interest things that were fun to my nieces&newphews
