  • This golf course is absolutely beautiful, scenery is just gorgeous, employees are very nice and accommodating. But...... The cabins were sparse at best. The "maid service" involved pulling the bedspre...  more »

  • Beautiful golf course with great views, wind, fast greens, and a lot of water. The course has condos and houses for rent if your group wants to stay for the weekend. They also have a really nice restaurant. Our group bought the weekend golf package which includes four rounds of golf, two nights at the condo, one dinner, and two breakfasts. All for about $350 (in early May). Great deal and great place to play golf.
  • This is still one of my favorite golf courses to come play. Beautiful, challenging, but fun. It only gets four stars because it's out in the middle of now where, but that's part of the beauty of it as well.
  • I would recommend this golf resort to ANYONE wanting a great golf experience. The staff (Bo, Bill, Gabe, Linda, Karen, Yvonne) and the others who helped accommodate my group's needs were kind and honestly wanting to provide 5-star service. They achieved that. This resort (no spa, resort pool, or a plethora of eating options...to be fair) offers nice accommodations. We rented two 2-bedroom / 2-bath condos overlooking the 18th green with fully equipped kitchens. Our arrangement included a buffet breakfast everyday. I love breakfast so to say it was my least favorite meal of the day speaks volumes about they quality of food they offer. Nothing too fancy, just solid, delicious food. The highlight was the beautifully designed golf course. I do not think there is a flat putt on the entire course. Straight? yes. Flat? no. Elevation changes, large and undulating greens, and stunning views throughout the course made Olde Mill a course I will want to play again and again. Because of it's remote location in Virginia, be prepared for limited cell and internet service. Not good if you need to work but great if you really want to get away. Golf carts had 2 USB inputs to charge your phones and tablets. I have never seen that before, but will be recommending my club in Florida invests in this option next time they get a new fleet of carts.
  • Food was alright but grounds an history we're great.
  • Great course and people
