Wildlife Habitat, Las Vegas

(950+ reviews on the web)
Zoo / Aquarium
A lush natural oasis in the middle of Nevada's desert, Wildlife Habitat is one of Las Vegas' more unusual tourist attractions located within one of its major hotel-casino complexes. This peaceful wildlife sanctuary houses Chilean flamingos, koi fish, turtles, swans, ducks, pelicans, and ibis. You can drop by for a quick photo opportunity with one of the habitat's resident parrots. The animals inhabit artificial islands and streams surrounded by iridescent waterfalls and lavish greenery. Try to time your visit to coincide with one of several daily feedings. Put Wildlife Habitat and other Las Vegas attractions into our Las Vegas itinerary planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Loved seeing the Flamingos. They got a nice wedding chapel in there. Nice ducks. Great place to visit.  more »

  • You wouldn't think you would find such an oasis of tropical sounds from the gushing water from the waterfalls and the exotic animals calling. Such vivid colors from the lush "forest", the tropical birds and huge coy fish that abound within the habitat. It really felt like a small patch of tropical forest that was imported to the backyard of the flamingo hotel! It's amazing how tranquil this escape is. You can't even hear the crowds from the strip as the hotel towers surround and block the noise from the strip right in front. We stumbled upon this place by accident. Who knew there was this reality break just behind the Flamingo Casino?! We'd recommend to enjoy this scene from the Flamingo Buffet and watch the animals interact from your dining table. Afterward go for a tranquil walk through the garden to walk down the food. Your going to find plenty of photo ops!
  • If you are a true lover of ducks, and I am, you will be thrilled at this. A pleasant spot to unwind and look at something that doesn't want your money. There are flamingoes, and huge fish too.
  • Utterly Depressing. Birds in cramped conditions performing for tourists. Like a particularly bad zoo.
  • Nice and calm place in between all the nose and chaos, I would love if they had more animals, but, hey it's free.
  • As Trump would say, "Sad!" Generally dilapidated and wholly unimpressive. Unlike the Bellagio fountains, this is truly a case of 'you get what you pay for'. Not worth visiting once unless you're looking for something to jokingly lambaste.
