Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.

  • Great hotel close to the strip without the hassle. Checking in is a breeze thanks to a dedicated hotel lobby that has its own entrance - no need to walk through a casino or park in the casino lot. Just drive up, check in, and you'll get a parking pass for guest parking close to your room. The clean rooms are huge, larger than some apartments, with kitchenettes. No utensils or dishes are provided, however. Bathroom was also huge, with a separate shower and tub plus a separate toilet. One of the best features is the main pool - open till 10pm when the other casinos close their pool at 6. Just wish the pool was adults only after, say, 8pm. There is a lap pool as well, though that one also gets taken over by kids although it is exercise only. Food is great, plentiful, and reasonably priced with entrees starting at $9 at the main restaurant. This will definitely be our go to hotel on future Las Vegas trips.
  • A very pleasant and fun place to stay. During our visit, our group experienced exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff in all areas. Our suite was roomy, pleasantly decorated, and quite comfortable. Housekeeping staff did a very good job of cleaning and supplying requested additional items (extra coffee, towels, etc.) Tuscany offers a nice selection of restaurants with a variety of menu choices, reasonable prices, and extremely pleasant wait staff. Casino is small, but is comfortable and offers a variety of gambling options. Only one small disadvantage -- it's located a bit off the strip for those who are less mobile and might desire to occasionally explore other areas along the strip. That minor issue aside, we're planning a return Gal Pal trip as soon as time and $$$ permit.
  • Beautiful casino. I did not stay here, but I visited for lunch. Very clean and well taken care of. I went to Pub 365, which is inside the casino for lunch and it was very, very good. The wine bar that's there also looks very nice inside and I'll definitely need to check it out on a return visit. A wonderful singer by the name of Windy also sings here. I will be returning. Definitely worth the time to check this place out.
  • Loved this hotel and the location was perfect not too far from the strip. I stayed here and I loved it better than most hotels I have stayed on the strip. Loved the restaurants great food for good prices and the pool was real pretty at night. Thank you for the comfort and spacious room provided. Will definitely be coming back to stay here.
  • Hard to believe there's better value anywhere near the strip. The atmosphere is much more laid-back and it's a short walk from the High Roller and many other attractions. Pool area is very nice. Casino is fair, and the restaurants and bars are all pretty good. Make sure and meet JennyLee at the casino bar; she is a hoot.
