The Roller Coaster, Las Vegas

3.3
#7 of 141 in Fun & Games in Las Vegas
Entertainment Center Fun & Games
One of the most thrilling ways to view to the Vegas strip, The Roller Coaster twists, loops, and dives at high speeds. With a backdrop of replicated sights from the Big Apple, including the New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty, the ride carries the theme of the hotel it accompanies. Keep your eyes open to appreciate the fantastic views as your yellow taxi races across the casino roof. The journey ends in a recreated subway station where you can purchase a souvenir photo of your ride. Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
