Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.

  • Family friendly! On-site child care center is a big plus. I'm not into gambling so the 18 screen movie theater with reclining chairs was great! The hotel has lots of food options from just snacks to fine dining. The well-stocked gift shop has most anything you forgot to bring. The spa was not overly fancy but it's perfect for getting away from the energy of the hotel. There's even a liquor store with a wide selection of beverages. Rooms are comfortable and freshly renovated, friendly staff, ample parking, and the list goes on.
  • By far it's one of my favorit casinos! I always visit when I'm in town, because they have the best buffet and prices are reasonable. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because check in time for a room is not till the receptionist wants to give it to you. Witch is late! I usually drive all night to avoid traffic and get there in to Vegas about 6-8 am and i want to sleep and be ready for the night and really none of the casinos accept early check in, so i end up staying at motel 6 behind Tropicana casino, or with my friend. Motel 6 doesn't care at what time you get there. Check in time is anytime. If you are a spontaneous person like me. Look into motel 6 when all else fails. They are great! I wish Orleans casino would be more flexible with that. Apart from this, the casino is big, spacious the rooms are clean. I❤ love their bar or bars! Some of the cocktail servers aren't friendly (most are). Don't let that one girl get to you. There is lots to do there. ☺
  • It's reasonably priced and not too crowded. But at the same time has all the amenities that you would expect of a Las Vegas resort. One major drawback of our stay at the Orleans was that the buffet was closed and under construction, and we were not informed of that before we booked. The one thing that I liked the most was the fact that they had plenty of $5 blackjack tables open all the time, which was important with my love of the game. Another big plus was the lounge style seating in all of the movie theater auditoriums.
  • 'My boyfriend and I stayed at The Orleans hotel for four nights before leaving to Reno, NV. We were in Las Vegas to attend my friend's wedding. Fantastic hotel, awesome staff, and it is very huge. Within this hotel, there is the Century Orleans 18 Movie Theatre. Unbelievable, a movie theatre inside a hotel. Century Orleans 18 Movie Theatre has luxurious recline stadium seats for maximum comfort so you can enjoy the movie at its fullest. Be warned: The seats are so comfortable, you may dozed off if the movie is not indulging. Also, you can purchase the ticket(s) online and choose your seat(s) and just skip the lines and head to the entry of auditorium where ticket taker just scan the barcode from your phone.
  • Best brunch Buffet on a budget. Good service friendly people wide selection. Don't be fooled by one of the bigger name hotels and over paying for the same food in the same quality of service. Yes the hotel is older yes it is off the strip but it's still okay in my book.
