The Mirage, Las Vegas

(3.6/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
In keeping with the Polynesian theme prevalent throughout the rest of the hotel, The Mirage offers rows and rows of casino games and slot machines placed among lush palm trees and exotic flora. The casino offers many table games, such as blackjack, ultimate Texas hold 'em, and Mississippi stud. The casino is a bit smaller compared to its neighboring counterparts, offering a less overwhelming and more intimate experience. With our custom trip planner, Las Vegas attractions like The Mirage can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • Great place to relax and soak in Vegas. Restaurants and shops for everyone's budget. 3 card poker was very good to us. Dealers are friendly and patient with the uninitiated.
  • The slots at this casino were extremely tight not matter where we were in the building!!!!! Drink service was no existent with very few servers on the floor.
  • This is the 10th time I have stayed at the Mirage and it was one on of the best in recent years. The rooms were clean and the showers hot with plenty of water pressure. The Dealers in the casino were ...  more »

  • Thought it was a good hotel until I got a nasty surprise when they took over $700 from my credit card without any warning or explanation. For this reason, I will never stay here again nor at any other MGM resort. Rooms were clean. Great location on the strip. Nice pool. Casino just ok.
  • Location is great, near the middle of the strip. Close to lots of activities, food and casinos. Rooms are nice, bathroom is a little snug but nice overall. Staff is friendly and courteous.
  • Check in took a little while. Had to ask for more towels, only two bath towels. But the staff is really responsive. Cleaning people were friendly and efficient. The gambling floor is well laid out and we enjoyed the hotel bar. Over all nice.
  • Though one of the older hotels in the area, it's in beautiful condition. Our 24th floor room has a fantastic view of the Strip, pool, and mountains. The room was clean and comfortable, and I slept great the four nights we were there. We spent several hours at the pool, which was a relaxing experience. The Paradise Bar served excellent tacos - the fish were top notch, but the fried avocado were also quite good. Margaritas were too sour, but can't have everything. The one flaw in the pool are the sub-human seat savers who line up before the pool opens and reserve their spots. Nice selection of restaurants. We tried The Still and a couple of take away spots for breakfast, happy with all of them. The check-in process was fairly quick, as was the in-room check-out process. We had no complaints during our stay. I like the coconut smell in the casino area, which you detect under the cigarette smoke.
  • It's a pretty good hotel, casino, and restaurants and shops. I like the excellent decorations, the hotel food is solid, and the outside is beautiful (unless you sleep on lower floors, you just see a wall), and the bathrooms in the room look beautiful. Overall it is a really good hotel, but there is a major issue, the drinks, chips and candy inside of the hotel room are too expensive, and if you touch any of them you will be charged because the items pressure sensitive plates alerting the room service. But you can avoid that by bringing your own chips, drinks and other stuff (but if you bring drinks make sure to have a cooler with ice because the fridge is where the expensive drinks are, and if you need more ice just buy it from the shopping canal or from a store outside).
