The Mirage, Las Vegas

(3.6/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
In keeping with the Polynesian theme prevalent throughout the rest of the hotel, The Mirage offers rows and rows of casino games and slot machines placed among lush palm trees and exotic flora. The casino offers many table games, such as blackjack, ultimate Texas hold 'em, and Mississippi stud. The casino is a bit smaller compared to its neighboring counterparts, offering a less overwhelming and more intimate experience. • Lots and lots of people in the casino when we were there. The place itself is very smokey. The machines are tight and a bit limited. I didn't do any gambling that required a dealer so I can't speak fo...  more »
  • I got a comp stay here, but would never gamble here again. Very few machines hit anything greater than my bet. I'm sure I payed for my two nights and then some.  more »
  • We go here every year and sometimes twice a year. Going again in October. We always have 6 to 10 in our group. The casino employees are the best around. Don't know of another casino where you could lo...  more »

  • Loved my stay here. Had a great mountain view and the resort was easy to navigate. Pool was great but filled up quickly so need to throw a towel down shortly after it opens if want a spot. Loved the complimentary soap and hair care smelled wonderful. Great location in the heart of the strip. Volcano show is great but does not happen too often so you need to plan for it.
  • Mirage is a nice places and easy to navigate. We saw BEATLES LOVE, and enjoyed the show a lot. The remastered audio of the chauffeur songs sounds amazing. The performers were great, with the only drawback being there is almost too much going on at once to really focus on one thing, or even know where to look. (the theatre was also VERY warm, so dress in layers to take off of your are there in cooler weather.
  • Great location on the strip. We got a fantastic room with a great view, thanks to being on our honeymoon. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Would happily stay here again! Love is awesome.
  • LOVE the Mirage! The Mirage is one of the nicer casino/hotels on the strip, not too over-priced but not trashy and smelly like other venues. The staff is extremely friendly in the hotel, you can't walk past the house keepers without saying hello to everyone - it's super kind. The casino floor staff opens up and can be friendly and humorous, but they're probably tired of dealing with all the shenanigans so they're not always the happiest, but hey, I get it. All food options are great, casino is great, hotel is great.
  • Good. Nice. Clean. But Not a great value. We got the tower Queen suite. The room was decent. Not overly spacious. Comfortable beds. Clean. Spacious bathroom. All in all, pretty nice, just nothing exceptional. The food available is absolutely fantastic. The down side is that it is all OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE!!! I mean, I get it... A good steak dinner should be expected to be $20+, but Hash browns & eggs for $28? Coffee with that breakfast for $4.00. You can't find a simple Pepsi for less than $4.50!...ya that's not a 12 pack. That a single 12 oz can of Pepsi. Service was decent.
