  • Stayed next door at the Grandview and came to South Point to gamble and eat a few meals. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Gaming was friendly. Good time overall.
  • We just spent a week at the Grandview which is next to the Casino at South Point. We had a great time gambling and really enjoyed the many restaurants that South Point has to offer. They also have a b...  read more »

  • I surprisingly liked this place. When my company booked this hotel on their business seminar, I was pretty discouraged. Who goes to Vegas and stays 8 miles from the strip? Well, they had a really nice set up. All the normal games, etc., but they really took it to another level. They had a great sports book, a nice poker room, and several good restaurants to choose from. They even had a place where you could get a sundae or banana split for less than it would cost you at a Baskin Robins. They had Seattle's Best Coffee instead of Starbucks (THANK YOU!). I ate at the buffet and with the club card and the 50% off coupon I received at check-in, it was like $8. They had a lot of good food to choose from. I would go back.
  • Great hotel in a great location!! Neighbors told us about South Point, so we gave it a try; now we just keep going back. If you're traveling from California, it's about 25 minutes past Primm Valley and 15-25 minutes from the main drag/Fremont Street. Beat the traffic--Stop here; it has it all. Nice rooms; great casino; several restaurants; movie theatre; lovely spa; Seattle's Best coffee; and a bowling alley...One stop fun spot!!
  • Visited many times over the years with family and friends. Mainly go for the restaurants, bowling alley and movie theaters. The Coronado Cafe is my most frequented location (especially after midnight), but the buffet and Steak and Shake are also fantastic. The theaters have some really nice seats now, especially in the upgraded XD theaters. The bowling alley is nice too, with the lanes on either side of the main thoroughfare.
  • Oh my God this place smells like cigarettes so bad! Now I know a lot of the casinos smell that way but this one is especially more worse than the average casino that we have been to in the area. However it's the greatest place to go after midnight for the food specials such as steak eggs toast and so forth for less than five bucks! I mean come on that is a great freakin deal. And it tastes great too.
  • Nice Casino for not being in the middle of the strip. Highly recommend joining their Players Club. It is much easier to achieve benefits from play at the facility. The facility offers many things for the kids to do. Bowling alley movie theater pool and the other side activities. This is also the only facility that has a horse Arena and Stables on-site. Really nice to take in a show
