  • There really isn't anything special about the South Point 64-land bowling center (not to be confused with the Tournament Bowling Plaza further down the main hall way). The bowling center is up on the ...  more »

  • I love NBS but n Reno, it is still the best place ever to bowl. This is a close second. The stadium setup is not as impressive as NBS in the tournament area, but it still is very good, with plenty of ...  more »

  • Absolutely loved it. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Shuttle service from airport. I had traveled from VA to see my grand daughter graduate from high school so I didn't get a chance to gamble but there is a huge casino with many gaming tables. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be off the strip and more secluded.
  • Nice hotel if you don't want to stay on the Vegas strip. The rooms were spacious but I wish all the rooms had refrigerator and microwave. I know smoking is allowed in the casinos but the casinos needs a non smoking area for people that don't smoke. The ladies in bingo need to explain bingo rules and how to play. Not everyone knows the bingo lingo. They could also make it more fun and not act like they hate their job. The other staff at the hotel was nice and helpful. Overall, we liked all the amenities at the hotel arcade, movie theater, pool, bingo, bowling alley, 11 restaurants and hotel shuttle.
  • We ate at the Garden Buffet earlier today and the service was phenomenal. Not only that, but the main reason for going to a buffet, the food, was delicious. Every dish was exactly as imagined, and some even better. Afterwards, we saw a film there at the in house theatre as we always do when visiting the South Point, and also as always, enjoyed our experience at the theatre. It has all the amenities we could ever need, and looks fabulous to any movie goer.
  • Very spacious rooms. Shower and toilet are in separate room from sink so people can still get ready and brush their teeth while someone else is showering. Good prices and good coupon book. Only difficult part was how big the hotel is and how it can be quite a walk to get to your room.
  • Rooms and staff were very accommodating. Everyone was friendly and happy, we had a wonderful gaming experience as well. We stayed two nights in spacious and inviting rooms. Made the bowling nationals open tournament an even more pleasant experience

Where to stay in Las Vegas

Most Las Vegas hotels increase their room rates on the weekends, so if you have a flexible schedule, avoid Fridays and Saturdays and take advantage of package deals that include shows, meals, and gambling coupons. Remember also that if you stay at any one of the lively casino hotels, you may not be able to get a good night's sleep for the duration of your trip. If you come to Vegas to stay but not necessarily play, try one of the non-gaming hotels or explore the quieter areas surrounding the city.
