  • Room was nice, clean, and quiet. The view out the window was of the side of a building 10 feet away but I was only in the room to sleep so that didn't matter to me. The cafe was decent, not as good as...  more »
  • Typical Nevada style fun, lots of variety of games to play. Great Mexican restaurant inside. Free parking so that was nice.
  • Came for a wedding and the wedding guests all stayed here. All the staff were very polite. They have a small aquarium that is great for all ages. We sat in the lounge and watched the fish. The Sundanc...  more »

  • Overall a nice place to stay, customer service could be better. 1. Requested an early check-in, was told room was vacant but not yet cleaned. Asked if they request that it be cleaned, was told not hotel policy. 2. Returned from a long night and day on the strip to relax in the hot tub only to find out the pool area was closed for a private event. This should have some how been communicated to guest at time of reservations or at least at check-in. 3. Once I was emailed my receipt, which I checked out at 3am, and was told it would be emailed after the system came back up. I didn't receive it till 12 hours later after I called and requested it. Upon viewing the receipt, I was charged $12 for water that I assumed was complimentary . You get two free but after that they are $4 a bottle! Wish I had known.
  • Room - needs updating -> need new carpet, new TV, bathroom wallpaper was peeling off. We were on the second floor away from the casino and, still, the smell of smoke in the hallway and in the room. At some point the room was probably a smoking room. AC worked well. Shower water was hot. Beds were very nice. We could hear banging and footsteps above us one night. Staff- all very nice and accommodating. Stand out- Lori at the front desk really tried to get us into a quiet room, but it is Vegas. Restaurants - Grille-good food, but stay away from the Cantina. I don't know how you mess up Mexican food, but the taco special was GD awful. We ate at Johnny Rockets twice - good burgers, nice staff. Staff at the Shady Grove Bar - Very good. The Aquarium bar-not so much - at times we had to look/wait for a bartender. Pool Area - Bar, not good. Expensive watered down drinks that were not made well. Not worth the $. Stick with beer, wine or champagne. The newly hired Cabana server was flying solo on the weekend, slow and overwhelmed. The pool itself is small and did get very crowded on the weekend. Water was cool and clean, for the most part. Hard to maintain water cleanliness all day when people are spilling drinks in the water, not to mention the volume of children doing you know what. They really need to build an outside bathroom by the pool. Guests are forced to go back inside and parade through the reception area to get to the bathroom. But, it was VERY nice to sit out there in the early morning to have a cup of coffee! Atmosphere - Relaxed. Much less stressful than the strip. Aquarium is very cool. They are building a new multi-story hotel across from the existing 20 year old structure. It will probably be very nice and not smokey as it is not directly attached to the casino.
  • Love the chill relaxed atmosphere, love the outdoors as indoors style to the place. Good dining options, fun times are bound to happen at the Silverton
  • The bass pro shop that's next to/ inside this casino is amazing plus the casino has a huge fish tank couldn't stay away
  • Im a trucker. Sometimes i come here to rest which must be done by law and i gamble a little or buy something in bass pro. Always park in their big empty lot and never leave trash. Today i was kicked out in the wee hours of the morning and told to move to the other side of the property. The spot they wanted me was in a construction area. Not great. I guess the Silverton does not care about truckers or our business. Oh well. I will spread the word.
